DELIGHTFUL YOSHIDA UDON


Have you ever taste udon before?

If you haven't tried udon noodles, you should. Udon is often served hot as a noodle soup in its simplest form, as kake udon, in a mildly flavoured broth called kakejiru, which is made of dashi, soy sauce, and mirin.

It is usually topped with thinly chopped cabbage and scallions. Shichimi can be added for a spicy .


Recently, my friend took me to a traditional yoshida udon shop serves 5 main dishes of udon and the most interesting menu is niku udon. Niku means meat, but they don’t serve pork neither beef, they serves horse meat. This udon is a little bit different than other udons, it's bigger, thicker and it has a little bit hard textures. But over all, this is the wowest dish I’ve ever tasted in my life.



This udon shop is a Japanese style shop, handcrafted ingredients and a nod to the past combine to create concepts that are modern in their traditionalism.


Wanna try how tasty is it? So Yoshida udon should definitely be on the list of things to try when you are in Fuji Yoshida, Yamanashi.
